CR: Chart [the name of the chart] failed with one or more errors

Problem:

When a column name starts with one or more spaces, the following error appears:
Chart [the name of the chart] failed with one or more errors:
[PQCrDef.Display] Failed to Prepare Chart  [the name of the chart]
[PQCrDef.GetChartRecordSet1 (  )] Too few parameters. Expected 1.
Make sure the data source and the chart definition are complete.

Solution:

Go back to the source, i.e. Excel, and edit the column name so that it does not start with spaces. This may be hard to see, especially if there is only one space before the name begins.
